From the Owner/ CEO
“My name is Larisa Louka and thank you for coming to our website! In 2004, I discovered that my calling was to help and work with the elderly. I started my career in long term care at the age of 17 and eventually became the owner and operator of senior care facilities in Oregon, and was later blessed to be the founder and CEO of Agape Hospice & Palliative Care in Los Angeles, California.
When I started Helping Hands for Seniors, I vowed to make this company special, and create an organization that truly helps seniors and their families during these challenging transitions in life. Luckily with our wide range of experience, we have become experts, advisors, and advocates for the elderly.
Compassion, Professionalism, and Integrity, are our core beliefs, and we look forward to showing you. Thanks for considering us!”

Our Testimonials
Super fantastic service. Larisa the owner is very nice and very good at what she does. Kaiser didn’t give us much time to make a decision but Larisa found us several great options. I highly recommend.
After the first company couldn’t find us a facility that would take my father who was suffering from Dementia Larisa at Helping Hand stook over and was a great coordinator of father's care with me. My father was on hospice and no place wanted to take him. My father was an amazing man who lived an amazing life and it is truly unfortunate that this process was so difficult. I don’t know what I would have done without Larisa’s help! She coordinated everything while educating me through the entire process. She was a wealth of knowledge and made sure my father was going to be taken care of. Really good company.
Its never easy finding a new place for your father to live. After we unexpectedly lost my mother and my dad no longer had her to take care of him helping Hands for Seniors founds us a place that he loved that is close to us. Mark at helping Hands is the nicest person and was extremely patient with us.He booked 4 different places for us but we picked the first one. Great company.
In 2015, I contacted Andreea Benea of Helping Hands for Seniors when I was seeking adult foster care for an elderly friend whose needs were such that she could no longer live alone. I found Andreea to be a knowledgeable resource with a wealth of information and great skill in assessing the needs of her clients. She spent a great deal of time showing me available foster homes in our area. She never rushed the process; rather, she was a skilled and patient navigator in familiarizing me with the many care options. She understands the governmental bureaucracy governing the industry and she thoroughly vets homes before offering them for consideration. I describe Andreea as a gifted compassionate service-oriented professional. Her dedication to serving her clients might best be described as a ministry. I continue to keep in touch with Andreea for advice and answers to questions I might have. I now consider her a trusted friend and I highly recommend her to anyone who is in a position to need her services. She will be a trusted advocate.
I was referred to Helping Hands for Seniors in July 2018 for my mom who was at St. Vincent’s Hospital for a hip fracture. I was completely overwhelmed by my mom’s condition and had no clue how to find her new housing and care options. Larisa and Monica gave me a complete education on the whole process and found mom an amazing place. I highly recommend Helping Hands for Seniors.
Helping Hands was the third referral agency I worked with to find a new home for my father. My father for the last year became severely demented and needed constant monitoring that most facilities were unwilling to accept. After working with Teresa and Monica for only a few days, they showed me several great options near my home in Beaverton and all of them were willing to accept my father. I am so grateful to Helping Hands for Seniors, specifically Teresa and Monica.
